UNFCCC Publishes Bangkok Meeting Notification

Christiana Figueres, UNFCCC Executive Secretary, calls for the names, titles and contact details of the head of delegation and representatives who will attend the next round of climate change talks, scheduled to take place from 3-8 April 2011, in Bangkok, Thailand, to be communicated to her by 2 March 2011.

9 February 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a notification to parties and observer States (CAS/PART/FEB/11) regarding the UN Climate Change Talks, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 3-8 April 2011.

The meeting will consist of the 16th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP 16) and the 14th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 14), which will be held from 5-8 April 2011. Pre-sessional workshops open to all parties will take place from 3-5 April. In the notification, Christiana Figueres, UNFCCC Executive Secretary, calls for the names, titles and contact details of the head of delegation and representatives who will attend these meetings to be communicated to her by 2 March 2011.
