UNFCCC Publishes AWG-LCA Submissions from India and the Philippines

The UNFCCC has published submissions from India on nationally appropriate commitments or actions by developed country parties and on nationally appropriate mitigation actions by developing country parties.

Another submission from the Philippines on enhanced action on adaptation has also been published.

UNFCCC28 September 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published five submissions from India and one from the Philippines, which will be issued as conference room papers (CRP) to be considered by the third part of the 14th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 14), which will take place in Panama City, Panama, from 1-7 October 2011.

Two submissions (FCCC/AWGLCA/2011/CRP.11) from India concern nationally appropriate commitments or actions by developed country parties relating to international assessment and review (IAR), and bennial reports of Annex I parties.

Another three submissions (FCCC/AWGLCA/2011/CRP.13) have also been received from India on nationally appropriate mitigation actions by developing country parties, which address: biennial update reports by developing country parties; international consultation and analysis; and registry of mitigation actions and support.

The UNFCCC Secretariat has also published a submission from the Philippines (FCCC/AWGLCA/2011/CRP.12) on enhanced action on adaptation.
