UNFCCC Publishes ADP’s First Meeting Report

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP).

The report highlights that parties postponed further consideration of the organization of the work of the session and includes a reference to the workshop held on 21 May on increasing the level of ambition.

6 July 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP), which was held in Bonn, Germany, from 17-25 May 2012.

The report describes the proceedings of the meeting, and includes annexes containing relevant information on the election of the officers of the Bureau and a list of the documents prepared for the session. It features chapters on the opening of the session and organizational matters, including the election of officers and the adoption of the agenda. The report highlights that parties postponed further consideration of the organization of the work of the session, and includes a reference to the workshop held on 21 May on increasing the level of ambition, as part of the implementation of all the elements of Decision 1/CP.17.
