The special body on least developed and land locked developing countries will address the food-fuel-financial crisis and climate change, and associated threats to development. The ministerial session will convene under the theme “Towards sustainable agriculture and food security in the Asia-Pacific region.” This segment will address the financial crisis and its convergence with other threats to development and the need to work towards a stable and supportive financial system for development.
