UNEP-WCMC Makes Reports Freely Available

1 November 2010: The UN Environment Programme-World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) has made 380 of its publications freely available online through the Biodiversity Heritage Library, a non-profit consortium.

The documents are intended to be used by a wide range of users, including educators, the general public, and decision-makers. According to UNEP-WCMC, the reports are published according to open access standards to allow maximum accessibility, and in just a few months there have been 9,307 downloads.
