UNEP Risø Convenes Green Growth Workshop in Abu Dhabi

The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Risø Centre, together with the Global Green Growth Institute and the Korean Environment Institute, convened a two-day Green Growth knowledge sharing workshop that sought to identify green industries and green jobs opportunities in the oil and gas, water and electricity, transport, building, industry and waste sectors.

19 March 2013: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Risø Centre, together with the Global Green Growth Institute and the Korean Environment Institute, convened a two-day Green Growth knowledge sharing workshop that sought to identify green industries and green jobs opportunities in the oil and gas, water and electricity, transport, building, industry and waste sectors.

The Workshop convened from 12-13 March 2013, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. Workshop participants included mid-level officers and managers from the public and private sector, as well as leaders of businesses and civil society organizations from the aforementioned sectors.
