ALM is an Inter-Agency Global Knowledge Platform for pooling and vetting information on climate change adaptation initiatives at the regional, national and local levels.
ALM seeks to provide easily accessible, country-specific information on climate change scenarios, examples of impact assessments, strategies, programs and projects on low-carbon and adaptation initiatives as well as details of lessons-learned from around the world. The platform also features practical guidance and good practices on adaptation as contributed by practitioners from the field. ALM is linked to existing climate networks such as AfricaAdapt, Adaptnet, Eldis, wikiADAPT, and the World Bank Climate Change Portal, among others. Core partners for this project include the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Bank and the UNFCCC. [The Adaptation Learning Mechanism (ALM) Website]
