20 October 2011: The Secretariat of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) has launched a donation button on its website, to collect money for its Trust Fund. The Fund supports the participation of representatives from developing countries, in particular least developed, land-locked countries and small island developing States (SIDS).
The page for submitting online donations to the Trust Fund notes that donations will be received by the Foundation for the Global Compact and transferred to the Rio+20 Secretariat. [UNCSD Donation Webpage]
