11 July 2011: The Secretariat of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) has announced plans to organize social media activities using Facebook, Twitter, and the UNCSD website.
According to the Secretariat, activities will include discussion forums on the themes of the Conference and other cross-cutting issues, a picture contest, and the opportunity to send world leaders a message.
