© UN-REDD September 2009: The UN-REDD Programme published the second issue of its newsletter, featuring news on the UN high-level event on forests and climate change, a commentary on REDD and indigenous peoples’ engagement in Africa, and reports on a technical meeting on forest degradation and a measuring, reporting and verification meeting, both held in September 2009, in Rome, Italy.
