UN CC:Learn Launches E-tutorial on Climate Policy and Public Finance

The One UN Climate Change Learning Partnership (UN CC:Learn) Secretariat has launched an e-tutorial meant to improve understanding of the links between climate policy and public finance.

The tutorial was developed by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) based on experiences in governance of climate change finance in the Asia and Pacific Region.

The tutorial was developed by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) based on experiences in governance of climate change finance in the Asia and Pacific Region.

In five sections, the tutorial covers: the climate system and changes observed since the end of the 19th century; climate change impacts in the Asia-Pacific region; the role of public officials in climate change mitigation and adaptation; national and international sources of climate finance; and strategic frameworks for climate finance.

UN CC:Learn is a One UN partnership involving 33 organizations that supports countries addressing climate change through the design and implementation of results-oriented and sustainable learning.
