The Stockholm Convention Secretariat is convening a regional training workshop targeting national experts on the Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) of PCBs and POPs wastes from the Central and Eastern European Region, from 1-4 December, in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The objective of the workshop is to enhance the capacity of the participants on the concepts, principles and standards for the ESM of PCBs and POPs wastes, as presented in the Basel Convention technical guidelines.
