FAOJune 21 2013: The eleventh edition of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) InfoNews includes an editorial by David Nabarro, Special Representative of the UN-Secretary General for Food Security and Nutrition.

Nabarro recognizes the importance of the International Conference on Forests for Food Security and Nutrition in furthering the understanding of the need for a comprehensive approach to food security. Nabarro also recalls the trade-offs faced when managing forests for multiple purposes while appreciating the human rights and justice approach to addressing food security.

The eleventh edition of InfoNews also reports on the International Conference on Forests for Food Security and Nutrition and reveals the winners of the ‘nurture forests for the future’ photo competition.
