SPC and Tokelau Agree Joint Country Strategy

6 September 2011: The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and the Government of Tokelau have signed a joint country strategy, articulating Tokelau’s priority activities for cooperation with SPC. The strategy is based on the principles of country leadership, mutual respect and mutual responsibility.
According to SPC, priorities include agriculture, aquaculture, disaster risk management, education and training, energy, fisheries, forestry, land resources, marine ecosystems, and water resources and sanitation. [SPC Press Release]
