11 November 2011 : The Government of Samoa recently held the Fourth Annual Review of its Water and Sanitation Sector. Under the theme “Water Conservation in Samoa,” stakeholders and key development partners participating in the three-day Review discussed progress, achievements and challenges faced by the sector from July 2010 to June 2011.
Samoa’s Water and Sanitation Sector Policy Support Programme (WaSSP), which is funded by the European Union (EU) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), hosted the Review. WaSSP focuses on improved planning and water resource management in Samoa.
