17 August 2012: The report of the 61st meeting of the Accreditation Panel of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) outlines the Panel’s consideration of issues relating to the accreditation of operational and applicant entities. The report also includes the Panel’s activities during the period from June to August 2012.

At the meeting, which was held from 14-17 August 2012, in Bonn, Germany, participants considered issues relating to the accreditation of operational and applicant entities, including initial accreditation and re-accreditation assessment cases, performance and desk review assessments, and complaints against Designated Operational Entities (DOEs). The report highlights that a total of 46 entities are currently under consideration by the Panel, including 41 DOEs and five applicant entities (AEs).
