April 2012: Registration is now open for the second session of a plenary meeting on the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).

IPBES is intended to provide an interface between the scientific community and policy makers to build capacity for, and strengthen the use of science in policy making. Its second session is scheduled from 16-21 April 2012, in Panama City, Panama.
