Proposed Agenda and Draft Work Programme for CDM EB 61 Released

At its 61st meeting, the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Executive Board (EB) will consider, among other things, issues relating to the regional and sub-regional distribution of CDM projects, and capacity building, specifically an update on the selection of an implementing agency and the arrangements to ensure the operationalization of the loan scheme to support the development of CDM projects in countries with fewer than 10 registered projects.

16 May 2011: The proposed agenda, annotated agenda and draft work programme for the 61st meeting of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Executive Board (EB 61), to be held from 30 May-3 June 2011, in Bonn, Germany, are now available on the CDM website.

The EB considers issues relating to the operation of the CDM. At its 61st meeting, it will consider: the accreditation of operational entities; methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans; issues relating to CDM afforestation and reforestation project activities; issues relating to small-scale CDM project activities; matters relating to programme of activities; matters relating to the registration of CDM project activities; matters relating to the issuance of certified emission reductions (CERs) and the CDM registry; and the CDM management plan and resources for the work on the CDM.
