Post-2015 HLP Launches Website

The website of the High-level Panel (HLP) on the Post-2015 Development Agenda provides brief biographies of the 27 Panel members and 11 Secretariat staff, links to key documents of the Panel, background on its formation, and other information and resources.

It notes that the Panel is expected to submit a report on its recommendations to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in May 2013.

January 2013: The Secretariat of the High-level Panel (HLP) on the Post-2015 Development Agenda has launched a website on the HLP and its activities. The website features an overview of the Panel and its mandate, a list of the 27 Panel members with links to brief biographies, a list of the 11 Secretariat staff with links to brief biographies, and a media section.

The website also provides links to key documents of the Panel, including a Communiqué on the HLP’s first (organizational) meeting in October 2012, the framing questions to guide the HLP’s work and the HLP’s terms of reference (TOR). Providing background, the website describes the creation of the HLP in July 2012 and the appointment of its three co-chairs, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of Indonesia, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, and Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK.
