PIFS Profiles FSM Recycling Activities on Kosrae

PIFS22 November 2012: The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) has profiled the success of the Kutkut Mwo Materials Recovery Facility on Kosrae, in the Federated States of Micronesia. The Kosrae state government imposes a deposit fee on the importation of aluminium soft drink cans, plastic containers, bottled drinks and car batteries, which is set aside for recycling of the materials.
