July 2009: The Ozone Secretariat has released the July 2009 edition of its bi-annual newsletter titled “Centrum.” The issue features climate change related articles on: hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs); synergies among the ozone layer, climate change and biodiversity; a workshop on capacity building for African negotiators on climate change; potential synergies for ozone and climate protection at the national level; and the Chicago Climate Exchange and credit for ozone depleting substances (ODS) destruction.
