18 April 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has made available on its website the outreach material related to this year’s International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB), which has the theme “Forest Biodiversity.”

IDB is celebrated annually on 22 May. Promotional materials include a booklet on the importance of forest biodiversity in English, Chinese, French and Spanish. The Arabic and Chinese versions will be available shortly. In addition, the IDB logo is available in the six official UN languages.
