September 2013: A three-week online consultation, titled ‘Toward a Eurasian Soil Partnership for Food Security and Sustainable Development,’ is open from 26 August to 15 September 2013, to contribute to the development of a platform for the Eurasian Soil Partnership.
The dialogue will also help to identify priorities for sustainable soil management in the region for implementation by a variety of actors. The partnership falls under the framework of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP), and has been initiated by the Eurasian Center for Food Security, in collaboration with the World Bank and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Global Soil Partnership and Global Forum for Food Security and Nutrition (FSN).
