3 April 2013: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has updated its dataset for “Aid activities targeting Global Environmental Objectives.”

The dataset contains “commitment data” on aid in support of environment sustainability and aid for projects related to biodiversity, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and desertification.

In their reports to the Development Assistance Committee (DAC), donors are requested to indicate if aid targets environmental activities and the Rio Conventions (the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)), with climate change aid divided into mitigation and adaptation categories.
