OECD Holds Workshop on its Green Growth Strategy

Participants highlighted that inadequate institutional capacity and investments in renewables are currently hindering the realization of green growth.

9 November 2010: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) held a workshop on “Green Growth Strategy: OECD Green Growth Strategy from the Perspective of Developing Countries,” in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on 28 October 2010.

The workshop focused on sharing findings of, and getting feedback on, the OECD’s Green Growth Strategy’s Interim Report. Experts from China, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed applying the Strategy’s Synthesis Report to different national contexts, with a focus on developing countries.
