June 2008: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) have released the latest edition of Agricultural Outlook. This edition covers the outlook for agricultural markets covering cereals, oilseeds, sugar, meats, and milk and dairy products over the period 2008 to 2017, and brings together the commodity, policy and country expertise of both organizations.

For the first time, the Outlook includes an analysis of, and projections for, global biofuel markets for bioethanol and biodiesel, facilitating the discussion of interactions between these markets and those for the main agricultural feedstocks used in their production. The report also aims to enlighten discussions on food-price increases, their causes and their likely consequences for agricultural markets as well as for the policy formulation process.
