Natural Resources Forum Highlights Soil Erosion, Water Security, CSR Practices

The latest issue of the Natural Resources Forum, a journal of the UN Division for Sustainable Development (DSD), features articles on: evaluation of sustainable development strategies and policies, and the need for more timely indicators; water security; and a Chilean fruit exporters survey on variation in implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in emerging economies' firms.

May 2012: The May 2012 issue of Natural Resources Forum, a quarterly journal issued by the UN Division for Sustainable Development (DSD), features articles on: challenging established narratives on soil erosion and shifting cultivation in Laos; water security; and a Chilean fruit exporters survey on variation in implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in emerging economies’ firms.

This issue of the NRF journal also highlights: evaluation of sustainable development strategies and policies, and the need for more timely indicators; gender equity in governance of the Okavango Delta fisheries in Botswana; and disaggregated emissions inventory for Taiwan with uses in hybrid input-output life cycle analysis.
