The workshop, which was held from 30 October – 1 November 2014, in Brussels, Belgium, was hosted by the French Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency of Burkina Faso, the Federal Public Service Health and Food Chain Safety and Environment of Belgium, as well as by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).

It provided a platform for participants to share experiences and receive expert inputs on INDCs, NAMAS and GHG inventories. Participants identified priority areas that the Partnership could facilitate, such as exchange of experience, knowledge-sharing, priority-setting, and the development and dissemination of tools.
