Other headlines include, from Asia, a report on the strong market for teak in Myanmar amidst discussions of a complete log export ban, as well as a discussion of the Forest Rights Act in India. The issue also emphasizes the initiative of the State Forestry Administration in China to address the illegal manufacturing of counterfeit timber products.
