Organized by the ITTO and the Central African Forests Commission (COMIFAC), a sub-regional workshop on the reinforcement of forestry training institutions in the Congo Basin was held from 26-27 September 2006.
The meeting took into account relevant ongoing initiatives regarding the implementation of training programs on forest management and forest concession management, and aimed to contribute to the development of a strategy for the reinforcement of the Network of Central African Forestry and Environmental Training Institutions.
