The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) has launched an online search tool for sustainable forest management (SFM) projects within tropical forests.
1 September 2014: The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) has launched an online search tool for sustainable forest management (SFM) projects within tropical forests.
The tool includes all projects that have received ITTO funding since 1986, for a total of more than 800 entries. Outputs from the tool include project documents and reports, as well as any technical assessments and outreach material associated with a given project. In addition to keyword searches, the database delivers results organized by country, donor, area of work and thematic programme.
The tool is intended to increase access to information on SFM and enhance stakeholder participation in the implementation of the ITTO. [ITTO Press Release] [ITTO Projects Search]
