In preparation for the fifth session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGR), the ITPGR Secretariat has circulated a notification calling for nominations by parties of candidates for the Executive Board of the Global Crop Diversity Trust.
6 September 2013: In preparation for the fifth session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGR), the ITPGR Secretariat has circulated a notification calling for nominations by parties of candidates for the Executive Board of the Global Crop Diversity Trust.
According to the Constitution of the Global Crop Diversity Trust and the relationship agreement with the ITPGR Governing Body, four members of the Executive Board of the Trust are to be appointed by the Governing Body, at least two of whom shall be from developing countries.
