The meeting undertook an initial discussion of the potential contribution of each agency to the transition to a green economy. Among other things, the IMG agreed to provide a report to the second UNCSD PrepCom, in early 2011, as well as to explore other ways of contributing to the preparatory process for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, also referred to at Rio+20), for example a series of expert consultations to brief Member States between May 2010 and February 2011.
