A key member of senior management, the Deputy Director-General will report to the Director-General, assisting in strategic management and programme design, formulation and implementation, in line with IRENA’s mandate and mission objectives. Other tasks will include: monitoring and evaluating renewables developments and trends with the aim of providing advice on strategies, goals and objectives; maintaining active relationships with Members, the private sector and both intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, among others; and provide leadership on administrative and operation matters.
