IPEEC Launches Database of International Energy Efficiency Initiatives

The "Making Energy Efficiency Real" (MEER) initiative, launched by the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC), comprises an inventory of energy efficiency initiatives in Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and the Russian Federation, and will include analyses of compatibility with national policies and market opportunities in these countries.

19 July 2012: The International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) announced the launch of a new initiative, “Making Energy Efficiency Real” (MEER), which will map international energy efficiency initiatives. MEER will include in-depth analyses of the complementarity of the initiatives with national policies, and opportunities to increase market penetration of energy efficiency technologies in the included countries.

The database will cover energy efficiency initiatives financed by multilateral and regional organizations in Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and the Russian Federation.
