IOSEA's June newsletter includes stories on the support being provided for sea turtle activities in the IOSEA region by the US National Marine Fisheries Service, and on the impacts of human activities on coral reefs and beaches in the region.

9 June 2011: The June e-Newsletter of the Indian Ocean – South-East Asian Marine Turtle Conservation Memorandum of Understanding (IOSEA) under the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) Secretariat features the support by the US National Marine Fisheries Service for sea turtle activities, and the Surfrider Foundation spring clean-up of Reunion’s “La Pointe des Châteaux” beach, which took place on 24 March 2011.

The June e-Newsletter also includes a number of articles on marine turtle conservation efforts in the IOSEA region, as well as several on the status of coral reefs and impact of human activities on reefs and beaches in the region. [Publication: June e-Newsletter]
