5 January 2011: The International Potato Center (CIP) has developed a catalogue for researchers and industry of potato varieties available from CIP.
The available potatoes represent 220 advanced clones and 55 improved varieties that have resistance to pests and disease and/or produce high yields. The catalogue allows users to select potatoes based on technical characteristics and worldwide distribution. Some of the varieties have already been tested in specific regions and conditions. The catalogue is available online and on DVD. The online site is available in three languages and represents the third update of the catalogue.
