International Land Coalition Invites Applications for New Members

The International Land Coalition (ILC) - a global alliance of civil society and intergovernmental organisations working on land issues, with the goal of reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development, and contributing to identity, dignity and inclusion - has called for new organizations to apply for membership.

Intergovernmental and civil society organizations such as farmers organizations and research institutes are encouraged to apply.

August 2012: The International Land Coalition (ILC) has launched a call for new organizations to apply for membership. Relevant intergovernmental and civil society organizations, including farmers organizations and research institutes, are encouraged to apply to join the Coalition.

Applications will be considered by the ILC Council, and decisions on new members will be made in April 2013. The application deadline is 25 January 2013.

The ILC is a global alliance of civil society and intergovernmental organisations working on land issues. It has a vision of secure and equitable access to and control over land to reduce poverty, promote sustainable development and contribute to identity, dignity and inclusion. Individuals, governments and private sector actors are not eligible for ILC membership. [Call for Applications]
