Indonesia and Malawi Join UN CC:Learn Pilot Countries

Indonesia and Malawi have been selected by the UN CC:Learn Steering Group to join Benin, Uganda and the Dominic Republic to participate in the 2011-2013 pilot implementation phase of the UN CC:Learn's “Pilot Projects to Strengthen Human Resources, Learning and Skills Development.”

14 October 2011: The UN CC:Learn Steering Group has selected two additional countries to participate in the 2011-2013 pilot implementation phase of the UN CC:Learn’s “Pilot Projects to Strengthen Human Resources, Learning and Skills Development.” The selection was made with support provided by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC).

The UN CC:Learn pilot projects aim to support countries in taking a strategic and long-term approach to climate change learning, with the ultimate goal of mainstreaming climate change learning within existing learning systems. The two new countries selected are Indonesia and Malawi, and they will join Benin, Uganda and the Dominican Republic, which were previously selected to participate in the pilot phase.
