In Blog Post, UNCSD Secretary-General Reflects on Submissions for Compilation Document

Sha Zukang said that submissions received for the UNCSD Compilation Document, which serves as the basis for the draft Outcome Document of the Conference, lay out new ideas and proposals for charting a global sustainable development roadmap for decades to come.

Sha said the submissions lay out new ideas and proposals for charting a global sustainable development roadmap for decades to come. He noted that, as of 18 November 2011, 643 submissions had been received, with approximately 80 percent having come from Major Groups.
