April 2010: The International Fund for Agricultural Development’s (IFAD) Livestock and Farming System team has created a tool for development practitioners, including a paper on livestock and climate change that aims to bring livestock interventions to the forefront of development.
The paper examines the impacts of climate change on livestock and fisheries, the role of adaptation and mitigation strategies in the livestock sector, livestock and soil carbon, and gender issues in relation to livestock and climate change.
