The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has announced a series of learning modules, which target IFAD staff, consultants, project partners, governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), are meant to help users understand environmental and climate change challenges, especially their impacts on IFAD projects.
30 January 2013: The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has launched a series of training modules focused on smallholders, the environment and climate change developed for actors involved in project design, supervision and implementation.
The learning modules, which target IFAD staff, consultants, project partners, governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), are meant to help users understand environmental and climate change challenges, especially their impacts on IFAD projects.
The learning modules will outline IFAD approaches to climate change, environment and natural resource management, providing resources, best practices and tools for improving projects. The four modules lasting a total of two hours will help users understand how to scale up impacts and empower IFAD and its partners.
