The 141-page manual, titled ‘E-waste: Volume III – WEEE/e-waste Take Back System,’ aims to build the capacity of practitioners and decision makers in understanding, planning, designing and implementing WEEE/e-waste take-back schemes at the city and national levels. The manual outlines components of a WEEE/e-waste policy framework, including regulatory systems and collection and transport systems.

The manual also reviews financial aspects of take-back systems and case studies of schemes currently underway. Case studies include the existing take-back scheme in Europe and a schedule currently being designed in Thailand. [Publication: E-Waste: Volume III]
