IEA SHC16 August 2013: The International Energy Agency’s (IEA) Solar Heating and Cooling (SHC) Programme has released documents detailing the background, methods and results of sustainable renovation of office buildings in Germany and Norway.

IEA SHC’s Task 47 on Renovation of Non-Residential Buildings towards Sustainable Standards published the overviews, which explore the buildings’ backgrounds, the objectives of renovation, decision-making processes around the projects, and the details of the renovations themselves, costs and financing models, and energy and environmental performance outcomes.
