IEA-RETD Releases Call for Proposals on Wind and Solar Energy Supply Chains

8 July 2011: The International Energy Agency’s Implementing Agreement on Renewable Energy Technology Deployment (IEA-RETD) has issued a call for proposals to study supply chain issues in the wind energy and solar photovoltaic sectors.

The research question to be asked by the study is: “Which elements of the supply chains are presently or can evolve as major challenges in furthering large scale deployment of on‐ and offshore wind and solar photovoltaic?” The deadline for submission of proposals is 12 August 2011, before or at 12:00 noon (Central European Time).
