9 May 2011: As part of celebrations for World Environment Day 2011, the UN’s Greening the Blue initiative has announced a photo competition, in collaboration with the UN Photographic Society. Stakeholders are invited to share their photos of a sustainable UN.

According to Greening the Blue, entries will be judged by UN experts in sustainability and communications. The deadline for submissions is 27 May 2011, and the winner will be announced on World Environment Day, 5 June 2011. [Greening the Blue Announcement]
