Global Compact Network Launched in Trinidad and Tobago

The Trinidad and Tobago Network will provide a local context and business case for corporate social responsibility (CSR).

6 October 2010: The UN Global Compact has reported that a Global Compact Local Network was officially launched by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) on 6 October 2010.

During the launch event, TTMA presented findings from the Multilateral Investment Fund project, “Improving Labour Productivity through internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),” which aims to improve productivity at three member companies. The Local Network will use the achievements highlighted in the study to provide a local context and business case for CSR. [Global Compact Press Release]
