Georgia Deposits Acceptance of the Amendment to Annex B to the Kyoto Protocol

At the second session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 2), held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 6-17 November 2006, parties adopted an amendment to Annex B to the Protocol by decision 10/CMP.2, in accordance with Articles 20 and 21 of the Protocol.

11 April 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has reported that the Government of Georgia has deposited its instrument of acceptance of the amendment to Annex B to the Kyoto protocol.


At the second session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 2), held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 6-17 November 2006, parties adopted an amendment to Annex B to the Protocol by decision 10/CMP.2, in accordance with Articles 20 and 21 of the Protocol. The acceptance by Georgia of this amendment brings the total number of States and regional economic integration organizations that have deposited instruments of acceptance to 24.
