© GEF June 2009: The Global Environment Facility (GEF) has posted the documents for the 35th Meeting of the GEF Council, which will convene from 22-24 June 2009, in Washington DC, US.

Among the issues to be addressed at the meeting are: proposals on how to improve the transparency of the resource allocation framework for the fifth GEF replenishment (GEF-5); the Memorandum of Understanding on the provision of secretariat services by the GEF to the Adaptation Fund Board; the reallocation of remaining GEF-4 resources; new projects for approval; and a suggested date for the next GEF Assembly to be held in Uruguay in May 2010.
