20 May 2010: The Global Environment Facility Evaluation Office (GEFEO), in collaboration with the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Switzerland Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), has launched a new website dedicated to the evaluation of climate change and international development projects and programmes.

The “Climate-Eval” website seeks to foster information sharing among climate evaluators. It represents the springboard of the Climate-Eval community of practice, reaching out to evaluation and research communities, practitioners and users. Climate-Eval will feature: an electronic library for Climate Change and Development Evaluations; a book launch and publication of the International Conference papers “Evaluating Climate Change and Development;” five studies on climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the development of a website to host forums as virtual discussion platforms.
